Honda only plans to sell 600 units of the 2021 Honda Civic Type R Limited Edition in the United States, which means it’s going to be really hard to find one. But here’s your chance to get the keys to the first one, since Honda has announced that it has teamed with online fundraising platform Omaze to raffle off the serial plate 001.

The proceeds from the raffle will go to Thurgood Marshall College Fund, a charity that supports 47 public Historically Black Colleges and Universities, medical schools, and law schools.

“We’re excited to link Honda’s ‘racing spirit’ and the all-new Civic Type R Limited Edition to benefit Historically Black Colleges and Universities and the Thurgood Marshall College Fund,” said Yvette Hunsicker, vice president, Corporate Social Responsibility and the Office of Inclusion and Diversity, American Honda Motor Co., Inc. “One lucky Type R fan is going to take home a very special vehicle and have an exclusive driving experience at a Honda track with Colton Herta, while helping support the needs of HBCU students navigating their education during COVID-19.”

The 2021 Civic Type R Limited Edition is 46 pounds lighter than the standard Type R, thanks to lighter wheels and the deletion of the rear heating ducts, rear wiper blade and a few other items. The lighter BBS wheels are also wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires and the suspension has also received a few tweaks.

There aren’t any changes under the hood, which means that it’s still powered by the same turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 306 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. The Type R Limited Edition is priced at $44,950, while the standard Type R starts at $38,450.
