Honda has announced the updates to the 2022 Honda Accord, with the biggest addition being a new Sport trim level for the Accord Hybrid. The new Sport trim replaces the former EX trim level.
The Accord Hybrid Sport comes standard with 19-inch alloy wheels, a black rear spoiler, LED headlamps and fog lights, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, heated front seats, Sirius XM radio, an 8-speaker audio system, and sport pedals. The Accord Hybrid is powered by a 2-motor hybrid powertrain that generates a combined 212 horsepower and gets a 48 mpg combined rating.
Honda combined the announcement about the Accord Hybrid Sport, with the news that the Accord has again been named a Car and Driver 10Best pick for the 2022 model year. This is the 36th time that the Accord has received the award, more than any other vehicle.
