We can’t say that we’re too surprised, but Honda has confirmed that the Crosstour crossover is going to be discontinued at the end of 2015. The end of the Crosstour will give Honda more room to produce its higher volume SUVs, like the CR-V and 2016 Pilot.
The Accord-based Crosstour was originally introduced in 2010, but failed to ever find a strong following. Honda says that the crossover has evolved since the Crosstour was introduced and it hopes that the new HR-V will be able to find more buyers.
