Holden has taken the wraps off the new VF Commodore in Australia, which will be exported to the US in form of the new 2014 Chevy SS rear-wheel-drive sedan. “The VF Commodore really is a class above,” said Holden Chairman and Managing Director Mike Devereux. “No other car created in Australia is as technologically advanced, and we’re very proud that not only was the VF designed and engineered here, but it will also be exported to the USA for GM’s biggest global brand, Chevrolet.”

Holden has only unveiled the Calais V model, which is pretty close to the version that we will get here as the new Chevy SS. The new Calais V-Series sedan will headline an extensively upgraded VF Commodore model range that goes on sale mid-year.
