Hennessey Releases Sketches of New SRT Viper-Based Venom 700R and 1000 Twin Turbo

Hennessey Performance has released sketches of its new Hennessey Venom 700R and Hennessey Venom 1000 models, which are based on the 2013 SRT Viper and Viper GTS models.

Hennessey Performance has released sketches of its new Hennessey Venom 700R and Hennessey Venom 1000 models, which are based on the 2013 SRT Viper and Viper GTS models. The Hennessey upgrades are available after you purchase your new 2013 Viper. Just in case you forgot, the 2013 Viper starts at $97,395 for the Viper and the Viper GTS lists for $120,395.

The Hennessey Venom 700R upgrades the SRT Viper’s output to 725 horsepower and 695 lb-ft. of torque, which is up from 640 horsepower and 600 lb-ft. of torque. The upgrades include high-flow cylinder heads and upgraded exhaust system and a tweaked engine computer. The Venom 700R reaches 0-60 mph in 3.1 seconds, the 1/4 mile in 10.7 seconds and has a top speed of 216 mph.

Want even more? The Hennessey Venom 100 Twin Turbo packs 1,120 horsepower and 1,092 lb-ft. of torque. The upgrades include twin turbochargers, new headers and pistons and a new exhaust system. The Venom 1000 Twin Turbo will reach 0-60 mph in 2.7 seconds and the 1/4 mile in 9.7 seconds.

Hennessey hasn’t announced the pricing for the two models.
