GM Shows Buick Dealers the 2016 Cascada Convertible

GM reportedly showed Buick dealers the 2016 Buick Cascada Convertible last week. It will look virtually identical to the Opel Cascada.

The four seater convertible segment continues to shrink with the recent departure of the Chrysler 200 Convertible and the upcoming disappearance of the VW Eos. Well fans of the segment will be happy to know that the U.S. is now one step closer to getting Europe’s Opel Cascada convertible, which will wear the Buick badge.

GM recently reportedly showed Buick dealers the 2016 Buick Cascada last week, which proves that the rumors are true and that it will make the jump across the Atlantic. According to sources, the Buick Cascada will arrive for the 2016 model year and will look identical to the Opel version. It’s not known what engines will power the Buick versions, since in Europe it’s powered by a 1.4L Turbo, 1.6L Turbo and a 2.0L Turbo diesel. The 1.6L is the most likely choice.
