GM Recalls Almost 100k Crossovers Due to Seatbelt Buckle Fractures

2011_cadillac_srx.jpg
GM has issued a recall of almost 100,000 2011 Chevy Equinox, GMC Terrain and Cadillac SRX crossovers due to seatbelt buckle anchors that may fracture and separate during a crash.

Since the seatbelt buckles may fracture, the seatbelts will not restrain the occupants in a crash.

The recall is expected to begin on January 18. Dealerships will modify the seatbelt buckle anchors as necessary, free of charge.
