Genesis has announced the pricing and updates to the 2022 G80, which starts at $49,045, including destination. The G80 is a great midsize luxury sedan and now its a little bit better with the introduction of the new Sport trim level.
The base Genesis G80 is powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder with 300 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque that sends its power to the rear wheels. All-wheel drive is available for an additional $3,150. The G80 comes standard with 18-inch alloy wheels, a 14.5-inch touchscreen, 12-way power front seats and Highway Driving Assist II.
If a V6 is more up your alley, then you’ll want to check the box for the G80 Sport, which is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 with 375 horsepower and 391 pound-feet of torque. The G80 Sport starts at $64,495. It come standard with all-wheel drive, rear-wheel steering, a slightly more aggressive exterior, unique interior trim, and a 21 speaker Lexicon sound system.
The most expensive G80 is the 2022 Genesis G80 3.5T AWD Sport Prestige with summer tires that lists for $71,295.
