Genesis is about to start selling its first SUV and the good news is that the pricing is pretty competitive. The 2021 Genesis GV80 starts at $49,925, including the destination fees, which is below the starting price for its rivals, like the BMW X5, Cadillac XT6 and the Lincoln Aviator.
The 2021 GV80 comes standard with leatherette seats, a 14.5-inch infotainment screen, LED headlights and a 2.5-liter turbocharged four cylinder engine that’s mated to an eight speed automatic transmission. The base GV80 also comes standard with rear-wheel drive. If you want all-wheel drive, you’ll have to spend at least $55,675.
The rear-wheel drive GV80 comes in three trim levels, standard, Advanced and Prestige, while the all-wheel drive version gets an extra trim called Advanced-Plus.
If you want more power, there’s the 3.5-liter V6 powered GV80, which comes standard with all-wheel drive, starting at $60,175. If you want the extra third row of seats, you’ll want to select the 3.5T AWD Advanced-Plus model, which starts at $66,075.
The most expensive GV80 is the 3.5T AWD Prestige, which starts at $71,975. It comes standard with a 12.3-inch digital driver cluster, Nappa leather seats, an electronic limited-slip differential, a suede headliner and powered second row seats with heating and ventilation.
