If you’re lucky enough to be headed to this year’s Monterey Car Week, you’ll get a chance to see the Genesis Essentia concept. Genesis has confirmed that the electric Essentia concept will be shown off at three locations, with the final spot being on the concept lawn at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
“Monterey Car Week is a prime opportunity for our team to reach one of the most influential global luxury markets,” said Manfred Fitzgerald, Executive Vice President and Global Head of the Genesis Brand. “After showing Essentia at auto shows on three continents, we are thrilled to present it to the most discerning concours attendees in the world.”
All the excitement begins on Wednesday, August 22 when the Essentia concept at McCall’s Motorworks Revival, which is followed on Friday by an appearance at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering. The Essentia concept will make its final stop at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance on Sunday, August 26.
Genesis has yet to announce any production plans for the Essentia concept, but it could enter production by 2021.
Genesis will also be bringing its newest model, 2019 G70 to the event as well.
