When Ford unveiled the electric 2021 Mustang Mach-E last fall it announced the performance specs for the electric crossover, but if the initial specs were a bit boring to you, there’s hope. A leak has revealed that the Mustang Mach-E is getting a performance boost.
A leaked dealer book shows that the Mustang Mach-E is getting a horsepower boost, which was posted on the Mach-E Club forums. Here are the changes:
|RWD Standard Range||255-hp, 306 lb-ft, 190 kilowatts||266-hp, 317 lb-ft, 198 kilowatts|
|AWD Standard Range||255-hp, 417-lb-ft, 190 kilowatts||266-hp, 428 lb-ft, 198 kilowatts|
|RWD Extended Range||282-hp, 306 lb-ft, 210 kilowatts||290-hp, 317 lb-ft, 216 kilowatts|
|AWD Extended Range||332-hp, 417 lb-ft, 248 kilowatts||346-hp, 428 lb-ft , 258 kilowatts|
It’s not known why Ford decided to add a bit more power to the Mustang Mach-E, but it’s likely that the power gains are due to some software updates.
