Ford hasn’t released that many details about the 2021 F-150 Hybrid, but a leaked Ford document confirms that the the F-150 Hybrid will be powered by a 3.5-liter V6.

The leaked doc was posted on the NewF150Forum, which shows that the Ford F-150 Hybrid will be powered by a “3.5L HEV V-6”, but other than that we don’t have any other details. The doc only lists the V6, but the horsepower rating says “TBD”.

When Ford announced the F-150 Hybrid three years ago, Ford stated that it will arrive in 2020 and be sold in North America and the Middle East. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, we’ll have to wait and see if that timeline has been pushed back.

The F-150 Hybrid won’t be the only electrified F-150, since Ford has also confirmed that it’s working on fully electric F-150.
