Ford has announced that it is going to recall approx 470,000 Mustangs (2005-2008 MY) to update the airbag system, specifically the passenger side airbag.
According to Ford spokesman Wesley Sherwood recent tests have shown that small unbelted passengers could be injured by the airbag, According to Sherwood there have been no reported injuries or accidents tied to the recall.
Ford is going to start notifying customers in March.
