Yes you read that right! The new Ford GT will have a price tag around $400,000 when it arrives. During the GT’s European premiere this week at the Geneva Motor Show, Ford’s Performance head Dave Pericak stated, “price wise, we’ll be facing off against cars like the Aventador.”
Also when the GT arrives, Ford only expects to produce about 250 units a year, which is a significant drop from the 4,000 units that Ford sold of the last GT in its two year run.
“Because this is a very different car, this is the next chapter in the GT story, and we didn’t want to do what we’d already done,” Pericak stated. “This is a supercar unlike any we’ve ever built before. The technology that’s going to reside in this car, the engineering that we’re throwing at it, we’re really raising the game.

So there you have it, Ford expects the next GT to rival the best from Lamborghini and even carry a similar price tag. Would you buy a $400k Ford?
