In addition to bringing another Fiesta ST concept to the LA Auto Show, Ford is going to debut the North American version of the Ford Focus ST at the show.

We first saw the production Focus ST at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September. The five-door Focus ST is powered by a 2.0L EcoBoost four-cylinder engine with 250 horsepower and 250 lb-ft. of torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission.

“This is the first time we have used a Ford EcoBoost engine in a high-performance model, and the result will leave drivers smiling,” said Jost Capito, director of Global Performance Vehicles.

European buyers get a wagon version of the Focus ST, but sadly U.S. buyers only get the five-door hatchback.
