First 2014 Cadillac CTS Vsport Delivered

The first 2014 Cadillac CTS Vsport was recently delivered to Tim and pat Whited who won the winning bid for the car on August 9 at at Barrett-Jackson’s Hot Nights Car Auction in Reno, Nevada.

The first 2014 Cadillac CTS Vsport was recently delivered to Tim and pat Whited who won the winning bid for the car on August 9 at at Barrett-Jackson’s Hot Nights Car Auction in Reno, Nevada. All proceeds of the $120,000 sale went to the SAE Foundation.
“The choice to purchase the vehicle was a combination of this being a great opportunity to support the SAE Foundation and a great opportunity to obtain the first 2014 CTS,” said Tim Whited. “We saw the SAE Foundation/Cadillac display at Reno, then listened to the great presentation… on the auction block. At that point, Pat and I looked at each other and decided to participate in the bidding – the rest is history.”

The 2014 Cadillac CTS Vsport is powered by a 420-hp twin-tubrocharged 3.6L V6 that is mated to a new eight-speed automatic transmission. The CTS Vsport is positioned above the standard CTS models, but is not quite as powerful as the high-performance CTS-V.
