Chevy continues to cut its car lineup and now that includes the Chevy Spark. GM has confirmed that the Chevy Spark will be discontinued after production ends in August 2022. The Spark may not have sparked entry level sales for Chevy, but it is currently the cheapest car you can buy in the U.S.

A GM spokesperson confirmed the news to CarsDirect. The pricing for the Spark starts at $14,595, including destination, which makes it cheaper than other budget oriented cars, like the Mitsubishi Mirage and Nissan Versa.

With the demise of the Spark, that only leaves the Malibu as Chevy’s sole four-door car.
