Chevy has unveiled the updated 2021 Chevy Equinox crossover, which not only has a refreshed exterior, but also gets a new RS trim level and the latest safety tech features.

On the outside, the 2021 Equinox has updated front and rear fascias. Starting at the front you’ll notice the Equinox’s face now looks completely new with a new grille, headlights and bumper. The rear has also been updated with new taillights.

The 2021 Equinox is now available with the sporty RS trim, which adds a gloss black grille, 19-inch Dark Android wheels and black badging. Inside the Equinox RS features a black interior with red stitching and an RS shift knob.

If you want something more luxurious, you’ll want to opt for the Premier trim level, which gets a gloss black grille with chrome inserts, LED headlights and taillights and 19-inch wheels. The Premier trim level also adds French stitching on the interior, a high black gloss finish on the console and a logo projection lift gate.

The 2021 Chevy Equinox is available with either a 1.5- or 2.0-liter engine. The smaller engine gets a six-speed automatic, while the larger gets a 9-speed. Buyers also have the option to choose between front- or all-wheel drive.

To keep you safe, the 2021 Equinox comes standard with lane keep assist with lane departure warning, a rear camera, automatic emergency braking, forward collision alert and front pedestrian braking.
