Cadillac previewed a new concept car this weekend at the 2012 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. Cadillac only showed two sketches of the new concept car that will debut sometime next year during the 2013 auto show season.
Speaking at the show, Clay Dean, Cadillac director of advanced design said that the concept is an attempt for Cadillac to “reflect back not for nostalgia, but what made us great at the time.” Dean also stated that the concept could provide a hint of the future design direction of Cadillac under the informal slogan of “American glamour meets American technology.”
Dean did not confirm if the concept will be a preview of the upcoming Cadillac flagship sedan that will compete with the BMW 7 Series and Mercedes-Benz S-Class models.
