It’s being reported that Cadillac has killed plans to offer a three-row crossover that would be an alternative to the body-on-frame Escalade. Cadillac reportedly decided against the three-row crossover since it would compete directly with the Buick Enclave and GMC Acadia.
According to WardsAuto, Cadillac is still working on a new crossover, but it will be smaller with only two rows of seats. Even though plans for the larger crossover are done, there are still reports that Cadillac may expand the Escalade name across more models.
