BMW has unveiled a new Black Fire Edition of the BMW X5 M and X6 BMW X6 M models. As the name suggests, both special editions of the X5 M and X6 M featured blacked out design details, like the Sapphire Black Metallic and black M double kidney grille with black bars.

Both models also ride on 21-inch M alloy wheels in black and another distinguishing feature of the Black Fire Edition are the standard carbon mirror caps.

Inside the M seats are covered in Merino leather, in contrasting Black and Mugello Red. The fine tone is underlined by the contrasting red seams on the full leather upholstery, which also includes the center console. The interior trim shines in piano finish black and there’s also a special logo for the X5 M or X6 M Edition Black Fire on the right side of the interior trim on the passenger side of the car.
Both the X5 M and X6 M Black Edition models are powered by a 575-hp 4.4-liter V8 engine that’s mated to an 8-speed M Steptronic transmission. Both models will reach 62 mph in 4.2 seconds. The BMW X5 M Edition Black Fire and the BMW X6 M Edition Black Fire will begin arriving in August.
