BMW has unveiled the new CS Concept, which is designed as a 4-door coupe to go head to head with Mercedes, Porsche and Maserati. The car is going to be officially unveiled at the Shanghai Auto Show. There have been numerous rumors about this “4-door” coupe and this concept provides even more fuel to the rumors.
The concept rides on the next generation 7-Series platform, but is actually longer and wider than the current 7-Series. Even though the concept is wider than the 7-Series, it is also much lower.
According to BMW the Concept also gives hints to the future designs of other BMWs. This concept is also said to be a thinly disguised version of what the future “4-door” coupe will look like.
