BMW has canceled the 1-Series coupe and convertible for the 2014 model year, in anticipation for the 2-Series models that will replace the 1-Series early next year.
It’s been widely reported that BMW is working on a replacement for the 1-Series coupe and convertible, that will be renamed the 2-Series. Since BMW is not ready to release it’s replacement, BMW has just announced that the current 1-Series coupe and convertible will not be offered for the 2014 model year.
Production of the 1-Series coupe and convertible has already ended. BMW is expected to unveil the 2-Series at the Detroit Auto Show in January, so hopefully we won’t have to wait too long for it to show up in showrooms.
