BMW finally released the M version of the 2011 1 Series this year and it looks like this will be the only year that it is produced. If you were planning on writing a check for $46,135 for the 1 Series M, you better go do it now. The Detroit Bureau is reporting that the 1 Series M will only be produced this year.
The 1 Series M, which is just now hitting dealerships will go out of production by the end of the year. BMW’s cheapest and smallest M Series model could return, but it won’t be for a while since the next-generation 1 Series is about to be released.
The 2011 1 Series M will see less than 1,000 units produced.
