Sportauto has released the results of a BMW 1 Series M Coupe that recently hit the famed Nürburgring.
The BMW 1 Series completed a lap on the Nürburgring in a solid 8 minutes and 15 seconds, which beat the Porsche Cayman S by 2 seconds and the Audi RS3 Sportback by 5 seconds. It even slapped the BMW 335i coupe, which completed the lap in 8 minutes and 26 seconds.
Sportauto felt that the 1 Series M Coupe could have done even better if it wasn’t for the stiff suspension. If the 1 Series had a more forgiving suspension and racing tires, it would have done even better. Sportauto also reached 0-100 kph (62 mph) in 4.7 seconds and 0-200 kph (124 mph) in 17.2 seconds.
