Most Bentley buyers are likely not thinking about environmentally friendly vehicles, but that’s changing, since Bentley has unveiled the most sustainable Bentayga model yet. It’s called the Bentayga Odyssean Edition and is made out of sustainable and environmentally focused materials.

The Bentley Odyssean Edition features open pore Koa wood that uses 90 percent less lacquer than high-gloss veneers. The open-pore veneer is painted with only three layers of lacquer. The cabin also features sustainable natural leather and tweed made from 100 percent British wool.

There are interior color groups, called Beluga, Porpoise, Cricketball, Brunel or Burnt Oak leather in tandem with Linen hide. The resulting combination brings a unique three-color palette. A unique Odyssean Edition treadplate has also been added.

The Odyssean Edition is powered by a plug-in hybrid powertrain with a 3.0-liter engine and 100 kW electric motor. The powertrain generates a combined 456 horsepower and can accelerate the Bentayga from 0-62 mph in 5.3 seconds. An 18-kWh battery gives it an electric range of 28 miles on the WLTP cycle.

If you want one, you better act fast, since Bentley is only planning on building 70 units of the Bentayga Odyssean Edition.
