This year in addition to unveiling the all-new third-generation Audi TT, Audi has also shown off the concept versions like, the Shooting Brake in Detroit, the Offroad concept in Beijing and the Sportback concept in Paris. Audi has obviously made it clear that a third version of the TT, following the Coupe and Roadster versions, is in the works. But which one is Audi going to produce?
Last week Audi technical chief Ulrich Hackenberg spoke to Car magazine at the Paris Motor Show, where he revealed that the TT crossover will most likely be the third TT model. The TT crossover would give Audi something to compete with models like the BMW X4, but would you rather have the Sportback version? The TT Sportback would be a better Mercedes-Benz CLA rival than the current A3.

Hackenberg did state that customers have been asking Audi for a car like the TT Sportback, since it’s the perfect solution for TT buyers that need a little extra room for kids. “With the TT concept you see here we are checking the industry and the market and the media reaction. If you’ve got two kids, a young family it could be the perfect solution.”

Audi will apparently decide within the next few weeks if it will be the crossover or the TT Sportback.
