We still have just over a year until the first fully electric Audi debuts next summer, but Audi is previewing it this week in Geneva. Unlike the rest of the debuts this week at the Geneva Motor Show, the e-tron prototype won’t be sitting on a stage and instead is being driven around the streets of Geneva.
The e-tron prototype is cloaked out in camouflage, but its still easy to make out the shape and several of the electric SUV’s design details. Especially at the front, which sports Audi’s large singleframe grille that’s flanked by slim headlights. The overall shape stays true to the e-tron quattro concept, which debuted in 2015.
Audi hasn’t released any other details about its upcoming SUV, but the concept did have a driving range up to 311 miles. It also had three electric motors that generated 429 horsepower and 590 lb-ft. of torque. Last year it was reported that production would kick off in 2018, but Audi hasn’t provided any new time frame updates.
