Audi officially unveiled the all-new 2012 A6 Avant yesterday, which is slated to go on sale in Europe this summer. When asked if the A6 Avant would be headed to the US, Audi of America spokesman Andrew Lipman said: “We don’t have plans to bring the [new] A6 Avant to the U.S.”

Audi currently sells the 2011 A6 Avant in the U.S. with a starting price of $46,075, but it looks like Audi is following the current trend of European brands pulling its wagons from the U.S. market. BMW and Volvo have recently pulled wagon models from the U.S. market due to less buyer interest.
