According to Auto Express, the Mini Rocketman could officially enter production as early as 2014. The Mini Rocketman would be smaller than the current Cooper line and create a new entry point to the Mini brand. The smaller Mini could also introduce three-cylinder engines and an electric version is also planned.
The smallest Mini will only be a few inches longer than the original Mini from the 1960s and feature a similar 3+1 seating layout as the Toyota iQ.
