Thanks to the success of Tesla and its Model S nearly every automaker is trying to produce a Tesla-rivaling electric vehicle. It’s being reported that Land Rover is currently mulling the idea of an electric Range Rover that would compete with the Tesla Model X crossover.
Rather than introduce an electric version of of an existing model, Land Rover would likely introduce a low-roofed electric crossover. Land Rover design chief Gerry McGovern recently hinted that the automaker is working on a new range of “incredibly luxurious, low-slung” Range Rovers.
