Honda is set to introduce an all-new 2016 Honda Pilot right after the debut of the 2016 HR-V SUV this year. The 2016 HR-V is expected to launch this spring.
“Shortly after, we’ll introduce an all-new Pilot SUV that will redefine what is possible with an eight-passenger midsize SUV,” John Mendel executive vice president of Honda’s U.S. Automobiles division stated. “And further ahead, a completely reengineered Ridgeline pickup. And we have some more excitement on the passenger car side of our lineup this year as well.”

Honda hasn’t released any details about the new Pilot, but it will continue to offer room for up to eight passengers. Recent spy photos indicate that it’s exterior may become a bit less boxy. The 2016 Pilot is expected to arrive as soon as this summer, which means that we should see it in some form at the 2015 New York Auto Show in April.
