Alfa Romeo may have reportedly pushed back the arrival date of its new midsize flagship sedan, but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t other new Alfa Romeo models in the pipeline. It’s being reported that Alfa Romeo will introduce a new coupe in late 2018 that will be based on the same platform as the Giulia.
The Alfa Romeo coupe will rival the Audi A5 and BMW 4 Series and will likely debut in March at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. Since the new coupe will share its platform with the Guilia, we can expect the same powertrains. This includes the a 280-horsepower 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder and the high-performance a 2.9-liter twin-turbocharged V-6 with 505 horsepower.
We don’t know what the new Alfa Romeo coupe will be called, but there have been rumors that it will be called the Giulia Sprint.
