Acura recently unveiled the 2022 NSX Type S, which marks the end of the current generation. If you we’re hoping to get one, we have some bad news for you – it’s sold out.

Motor1 is reporting that Acura filled all 300 NSX Type S reservations in only 24 hours. Acura is planning on building a total of 350 NSX Type S supercars for the 2022 model year, but only 300 will be sold in the U.S. It looks like there’s already a wait list too, since according to a company source, Acura has 100 people on the waitlist, just in case some of the 300 reservations fall through.

The 2022 NSX Type S not only received a facelift, but also more power. The hybrid powertrain now generates 600 horsepower and 492 pound-feet of torque, which is an improvement of 27 hp and 16 lb-ft.

The pricing for the 2022 NSX Type S starts at $169,500, but if you opt for the Lightweight Package that drops the weight by 57.8 pounds, you’ll have to pay $182,500.

Will there be a third generation NSX? Acura recently hinted that the NSX could come back as a fully electric supercar, but it hasn’t announced any official plans.
