Porsche is giving us our first look inside the upcoming Cayenne Electric, which will officially debut at the end of this year. The all-electric SUV will join the gasoline and plug-in hybrid Cayenne models, but Porsche is setting the EV apart with a completely redesigned interior that blends digital innovation with its signature sporty DNA.

At the center of the cabin is Porsche’s new Flow Display, a curved OLED screen that stretches into the center console. It’s paired with a fully digital 14.25-inch instrument cluster and an optional 14.9-inch passenger display for entertainment and app control. A head-up display with augmented reality is also available, projecting navigation and lane guidance directly onto the road ahead. Porsche says the new digital cockpit allows drivers to personalize layouts with widgets and color themes, while a new AI-powered voice assistant can control everything from climate and lighting to media and navigation.
The Cayenne Electric interior isn’t just about screens. Porsche has added new comfort features, including electrically adjustable rear seats, Mood Modes that adjust light, sound, and climate for different driving moods, and surface heating that warms seats, armrests, and door panels for a more even and efficient cabin temperature. A massive sliding panoramic roof—the largest ever on a Porsche—uses liquid crystal technology to switch between clear, matte, and semi-transparent settings at the touch of a button.

Customization reaches new levels with 13 interior color combinations, four interior packages, and five accent options. Buyers can choose from new shades like Magnesium Grey, Lavender, and Sage Grey, or opt for a leather-free Race-Tex interior with Pepita print as a nod to Porsche’s heritage. Decorative trims, stitching, and Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur options allow near-endless personalization, with the Sonderwunsch program available for one-off creations.
Technology continues with the new Porsche Digital Key, which uses Ultra Wideband (UWB) to unlock the SUV with a smartphone or smartwatch. The key can be shared with up to seven users through a secure app. On the tech and entertainment front, Porsche is expanding streaming and gaming capabilities for passengers, making the Cayenne Electric as much a connected lounge as it is a high-performance EV.
The 2026 Porsche Cayenne Electric promises to raise the bar for luxury EV SUVs with its advanced interior, new digital operating system, and huge range of personalization. Full specs and performance details will be revealed closer to its official debut later this year.
