Nissan is taking the Armada in a new direction for the first time ever with the introduction of the 2026 Armada NISMO – a much sportier version of the big SUV. The Armada NISMO adds more power under the hood, a bold body kit and sportier chassis.
Under the hood the NISMO version is powered by the same twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 as the rest of the Armada lineup, but it has an extra 35 horsepower, which gives it a total of 460 hp. The exhaust has also been retuned, while a “Active Sound Enhancement” system brings adds sound in the interior.
To go along with its new sporty mission, the Armada NISMO also gets a returned air suspension and steering.
[ngg src=”galleries” ids=”1424″ display=”pro_horizontal_filmstrip”]On the outside, the Armada NISMO looks bolder with its fender flares, red brake calipers and more aggressive front and rear fascias. The body kit lowers the ground clearance by 0.7-inches to 8.9-inches. It also gets unique 22-inch wheels wrapped in sportier tires.
Inside there are lots of red accents with a red microsuede quilted insert on the seats and a red accent on the dashboard. The front seats also feature adjustable side bolsters.
Nissan has not announced the pricing for the 2026 Armada NISMO, but it will arrive this fall.
