Nissan is taking the Armada in a new direction for the first time ever with the introduction of the 2026 Armada NISMO – a much sportier version of the big SUV. The Armada NISMO adds more power under the hood, a bold body kit and sportier chassis.
Under the hood the NISMO version is powered by the same twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 as the rest of the Armada lineup, but it has an extra 35 horsepower, which gives it a total of 460 hp. The exhaust has also been retuned, while a “Active Sound Enhancement” system brings adds sound in the interior.
To go along with its new sporty mission, the Armada NISMO also gets a returned air suspension and steering.
On the outside, the Armada NISMO looks bolder with its fender flares, red brake calipers and more aggressive front and rear fascias. The body kit lowers the ground clearance by 0.7-inches to 8.9-inches. It also gets unique 22-inch wheels wrapped in sportier tires.
Inside there are lots of red accents with a red microsuede quilted insert on the seats and a red accent on the dashboard. The front seats also feature adjustable side bolsters.
Nissan has not announced the pricing for the 2026 Armada NISMO, but it will arrive this fall.
