Porsche has unveiled an expanded lineup for their upcoming 2025 Porsche Macan EV range, adding both an entry-level RWD version as well as a more powerful 4S version. These will bookend the already-announced Macan 4 variant on either side in terms of hierarchy.

The new entry-level RWD variant will be powered by a single rear-mounted electric motor making 335 hp in standard drive mode, capable of upping that figure to 355 hp and 415 lb-ft of torque in overboost mode. This RWD version will be capable of a sprint from 0-60 mph in 5.4 seconds, maxing out at a top speed of 126 mph. This new RWD version is also 243 lbs lighter than the Macan 4 which may help it achieve higher range numbers due to it sharing the same 100 kWh battery pack, though Porsche has not released official range numbers yet.
The more powerful 2025 Porsche Macan EV 4S model will sit above the Macan 4 and below the previously-announced Macan Turbo trims in the Macan EV lineup. The 4S will feature a dual-motor setup delivering 442 hp in standard mode and 509 hp and 578 lb-ft of torque in overboost mode. That is 107 hp more than the Macan 4 and will allow the 4S to achieve a 3.9 second 0-60 time and a 149 mph top speed. This makes the Macan 4S a full second faster to 60 mph than the Macan 4 while being 0.8 seconds slower than the Macan Turbo.
Both of these new versions will feature a standard adaptive air suspension with electronically controlled damping, with the 4S also receiving the Porsche Traction Management system. Buyers will be able to opt for rear-axle steering as well. Just as in the Macan 4 and Turbo variants, these new versions will be built on Porsche’s 800-volt PPE architecture that supports DC fast charging speeds up to 270 kW, letting their batteries charge from 20 to 80 percent in just 21 minutes.

Porsche also announced a new off-road package, which will be available on all trims of the upcoming 2025 Porsche Macan EV. This package brings more rugged styling to the Macan EV, including a redesigned front bumper, side skirts, and diffuser. Buyers of this package will also get a new body kit and optional 21-inch five-spoke alloy wheels in a Vesuvius Grey finish. The off-road package will also include a 0.4-inch lift in ground clearance thanks to a more capable air suspension system that, with the slightly changed bumper design, gives models equipped with the package increased 17.5-degree maximum approach angles, making it both a functional and stylistic upgrade.

These new variants of the 2025 Porsche Macan EV line are available to order now and are expected to land in the US in the fourth quarter of this year. The RWD model will start at $75,300, while the 4S model will begin at $84,900, both excluding a $1,995 destination fee.
