The Porsche 911 Turbo was first introduced back in 1974. To commemorate this, Porsche has revealed the 2025 Porsche 911 Turbo 50 Years at Monterey Car Week.

Based on the standard 911 Turbo S, the 2025 Porsche 911 Turbo 50 Years arrives with the same 3.7-lt flat-six engine making 640 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque mated to an eight-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic transmission and features all-wheel drive standard.

All 2025 Porsche 911 Turbo 50 Years editions come with a sport exhaust system, black brake calibers, an adaptive suspension that sits 10 mm lower than the standard 911 Turbo, a front-axel lift system, and tinted matrix LED headlights.

Unique white decals along the side reference the RSR Turbo concept first shown at the 1973 Frankfurt Motor Show, while a badge on the deck lid includes a depiction of the turbocharger itself. Buyers will also find wheels and accent pieces finished in an exclusive color called Turbonite, as well as puddle lights that project the image of a turbocharger on the ground beside the car. Yes, this is a very turbo-forward vehicle.

Inside, buyers will find Porsche’s iconic MacKenzie tartan upholstery (a light plaid for those who aren’t familiar), additional Tourbonite-colored accents, and illuminated “Turbo 50” logos on the door sills. These are joined by sun visors, a-pillars, and the roof liner-wrapped Race-Tex, a perforated synthetic suede.

An available Heritage Design Package arrives painted in Aventurine Green Metallic with hood and wheel center caps painted in silver and white, a special white decal set, and a gold-colored model designation on its rear. Inside, buyers will find Porsche’s iconic Sport Chrono clock finished in green, additional dials in the gauge cluster and even more of that glorious tartan plaid upholstery.

The 2025 Porsche 911 Turbo 50 Years will cost $263,095 (including a $1,995 destination fee) when it goes on sale, making it $29,700 more than the standard Turbo S coupe. Fittingly, Porsche will make 1,974 examples total and should reach US showrooms by the end of this year.
