While its been widely publicized that sales of EVs have seen a downturn, largely due to the lack of charging infrastructure, there’s now a push for plug-in hybrid models. Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the 2025 GLC 350e plug-in hybrid.

The GLC plug-in hybrid is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 201 hp, a 134 hp electric motor and a 24.8-kWh battery. The plug-in hybrid system generates a combined 313 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque that is sent to all four wheels. It can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 6.6 seconds.

2025 Mercedes-Benz GLC 350e

The big news is that Mercedes says that it has an electric range up to 81 miles on Europe’s WLTP cycle, which means that it will probably have a range around 70 miles by the EPA. It can be recharged in about 30 minutes with a 60 kW DC charger or AC charging at 11 kW. The 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLC 350e will arrive in the second half of 2024.
