Lexus has introduced a new hybrid version of its LX full-size SUV, called the LX 700h. This is the first time that Lexus has electrified its flagship SUV.
The 2025 Lexus LX 700h is powered by a 3.4-liter twin-turbo V6 engine paired with a motor generator, clutch, and a 10-speed automatic transmission. This hybrid powertrain generates 457 hp and 583 lb-ft of torque and is capable of achieving up to 20 mpg on the EPA combined cycle. All that power goes to all four wheels via a permanent four-wheel-drive system.
The LX 700h hybrid also gets a new shift-by-wire system that Lexus calls “Electro-Shiftmatic.”
The 2025 Lexus LX 700h hybrid is offered in four trim levels: Overtrail, F Sport Handling, Luxury and Ultra Luxury. The pricing starts at $115,350. The top spec Ultra Luxury trim level starts at $141,350.
