Lamborghini has introduced a new plug-in hybrid version of the 2025 Urus SUV, called the Urus SE. The Urus PHEV is just the beginning of Lamborghini’s electrification plans.

It’s powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 with 612 hp, that’s mated to a 189 hp electric motor. You’ll notice that the V8 here generates slightly less horsepower at 612 vs 657 hp. The electric motor is located inside the 8-speed automatic transmission.
The total combined output of the plug-in hybrid powertrain is 789 horsepower and 701 pound-feet of torque. This gives the Urus SE a 0-62 mph time of 3.4 seconds. The Urus SE should have an electric driving range around 30 miles thanks to its 25.9-kWh lithium-ion battery.
There are some small styling changes to the hood and rear fascia. It also gets a new spoiler and diffuser that improve downforce by 35 percent compared to the Urus S. There are also some updated aerodynamics under the Urus SE to better cool the brakes.
