Honda has announced that the refreshed 2025 Honda Civic sedan is now on sale. The big news is the addition of the new Civic hybrid, which has a 50 mpg city rating.
The pricing for the 2025 Civic sedan starts at $25,345. The non-hybrid Civic is powered by a new Atkinson-cycle 2.0-liter four-cylinder that generates 150 horsepower, compared to the outgoing engine that had 158 hp. The Civic Sport is priced at $27,345.
The 2025 Civic Sport Hybrid sedan $29,845, which is $2,500 is more than the non-hybrid version. The Civic hybrid is powered a 2.0-liter four-cylinder with two electric motors, that generates a combined 200 horsepower and 232 pound-feet of torque. You’ll notice that’s more torque than the Civic Si.
The fully equipped Civic Sport Touring Hybrid starts at $32,845.
The Civic LX and Sport are rated at up to 32 mpg city, 41 mpg highway and 36 mpg combined. The Civic Hybrid is rated at 50 mpg city, 47 mpg highway and 49 mpg combined.
The Civic hatchback will also be available with the hybrid powertrain, but Honda has not announced the pricing.
