Honda has announced that the 2025 Civic hatchback is now on sale, so if you we’re waiting for the hybrid version, it’s here. The Civic hatchback will be available with either a 2.0-liter four-cylinder or a hybrid powertrain.
The Civic hybrid features a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and two electric motors that generate a combined 200 horsepower and 232 pound-feet of torque. Honda likes to point out that the Civic hybrid is has the most torque of any non-Type R Civic, including the Civic Si.
The hybrid version is rated at 50 mpg city, 45 mpg highway and 48 mpg combined. That’s a nice bump over the standard version which is rated at 30/38/34 mpg.
The pricing for the 2025 Civic hatchback starts at $28,545 for the non-hybrid Sport version. The hybrid is available in two trim levels, Sport and Sport Touring. The hybrid starts at $31,045.
