Last month Dodge dropped a few teaser photos of the 2025 Dodge Charger Daytona EV, which is the production version of the Charger Daytona SRT concept. Now it’s being reported that the electric muscle car is going to debut on March 5.
Say goodbye to V8 powered Dodge Chargers, when the new Charger goes on sale later this year. Dodge hasn’t officially announced when it will debut but, according to Automotive News and Motor1, it will debut next month.
From these teaser photos we can see that the Charger Daytona will be pretty close to the Daytona concept that was revealed in 2022. Dodge hasn’t revealed what types of electric powertrains we can expect, but it will use an 800-volt architecture and could see its top version have around 900 horsepower. If you still wish for a gas version, it’s also being reported that the Hurricane twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline-six could be offered.
