The 2025 Chevy Corvette ZR1 is getting ready for its debut, since Chevy previously confirmed that it will debut this summer. Now we have a new teaser that gives us a preview of how awesome the Corvette’s ZR1’s twin-turbo flat-plane V8 sounds.
This teaser was posted on Chevrolet’s YouTube account, which although we can’t see much, the video is pleasing to our ears. The video provides a few seconds for us to hear the engine rev and transmission go through a few shifts. It’s expected that the Corvette ZR1 will be powered by a twin-turbocharged version of the Z06’s LT6 5.5-liter V8, which will be mated to a dual-clutch transmission. The version under the hood of the ZR1 is expected to be called the LT7.
We don’t have any specs yet, but it’s expected that the Corvette ZR1 will have around 800 horsepower, compared to the Z06 with its 670 hp.
