Jeep has unveiled the 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S, the first all-electric Jeep to be offered in the US.

The exterior of the 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S is instantly recognizable as a Jeep thanks to its seven-slot grille and generally Jeep-like shape. That grille, however, is quite different than past Jeep grilles as it has been reimagined for the electric age and features eye-catching illumination. Flush-fitting door handles aid with aerodynamics, while the rear of the 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S features a full-width lightbar and massive wing spoiler.
The 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S has an impressive 0.29 drag coefficient, the same as the Tesla Model 3. This is achieved through clever wind-cheating body sculpting, including that rather dramatic-looking rear spoiler that lets it retain a boxier side profile while allowing the actual greenhouse to be more aerodynamic.
The 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S will initially be available in Launch Edition trim. The Launch Edition will come loaded to the gills with standard features, including heated and ventilated front and rear seats, a heated steering wheel, 20-inch wheels, a panoramic sunroof, and a 19-speaker McIntosh audio system. Other standard features for the Launch Edition will include a 10-inch head-up display, vegan leather upholstery, a 12.3-inch central infotainment screen, a 12.3-inch digital driver display, and even a 10.25-inch display to keep the front seat passenger suitably entertained and informed.

Inside, the 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S features an interior not unlike that of other modern Jeeps. This is a good thing, as Jeep has been moving upmarket for some time now. Numerous screens are scattered about the sleek, streamlined cabin, while strips of user-configurable ambient lighting highlight the dash and door panels. Recycled materials abound on the interior, while synthetic leather is used on the seats, center console, and door panels. The 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S will be capable of over-the-air software updates and will run Jeep’s latest Uconnect 5 operating system.

The 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S will not be short of power, arriving with an impressive 600 hp and 617 lb-ft of torque from a pair of 250-kW electric motors. This powertrain imbues the 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S with a blistering 0-60 mph time of 3.4 seconds, making it the quickest Jeep ever. The 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S will also be capable of towing up to 3,400 pounds.

Featuring a 100.5 kWh battery, the 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S is expected to get more than 300 miles on a charge and will be able to charge from 20 to 80% in just 23 minutes at a DC fast charging station. The 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S will launch with a CCS charging port before migrating to the NACS standard in a few years. The 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S rides on Stellantis’ SLTA-Large EV platform.
Reservations for the 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S open tomorrow with a starting price of $71,995. Deliveries beginning this fall.
