Last month it was revealed that the 2025 BMW Z4 is getting an optional manual transmission, which was great news for enthusiasts. BMW has now announced more details, which shows that the manual transmission is part of a package that also includes other upgrades.
The manual transmission is only available on the Z4 M40i, which means that you can only get it with the 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six. In addition to the manual, the package adds Vernasca leather seats, 19-inch front / 20-inch rear wheels, extended Shadowline trim and some chassis tweaks. The total price for the package costs $3,500. BMW has not announced the starting pricing for the Z4 M40i.
It’s also available in two new colors: San Remo Green metallic or Frozen Deep Green metallic. The 2025 BMW Z4 will have its worldwide launch start in March.
