The current generation Acura RDX has been around for quite a while, but it looks like Acura isn’t ready to release an all-new RDX. Acura has unveiled the 2025 RDX, which gets some small styling and tech updates.
On the outside the RDX gets a new “frameless” grille with a more aggressive grille mesh. This is the second time that Acura has given the current generation RDX a facelift, but this one is so small that most buyers probably won’t immediately be able to tell that it’s been refreshed. The 2025 RDX is available in three new paint colors: Solar Silver Metallic, Canyon River Blue Metallic and Urban Gray Pearl.
Inside the redesigned center console that has more storage, larger cupholders and improved access to the wireless charger. We we’re hoping that the 2025 RDX would get the same touchscreen infotainment system as the 2025 MDX, but that’s not the case. The RDX retains its 10.2-inch screen that is operated via a touchpad on the center console. The infotainment system now features a new wide-screen mode for wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Lastly the RDX with Advance Package and A-Spec with Advance Package now feature full-leather seats, ambient lighting on the center console, and lit front- and rear-door speaker cones behind acid-etched speaker grilles.
The 2025 Acura RDX will go on sale later this month.
