Porsche unveiled the updated 2024 Cayenne a few months ago and now it’s ready to show off the next addition to the Cayenne lineup, the Turbo E-Hybrid. The Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid replaces the previous Turbo version and is now the most powerful Cayenne available.
The Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid is powered by a revised twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 with 591 horsepower, that’s mated to a 174 hp electric motor. The powertrain generates a combined 729 hp and 700 pound-feet of torque. With all that power, the Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid only needs 3.5 seconds to reach 60 mph and has a top track speed of 183 mph.
The hybrid also gets a larger 25.9 kWh battery and an 11-kW on-bard charger that reduces the charging time to less than 2.5 hours using a Level 2 charger. Other upgrades include an adaptive air suspension with new two-chamber, two-valve technology, Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus, Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control, and rear wheel steering.
On the outside the 2024 Cayenne E-Turbo modes feature a unique front fascia with larger air intakes and air blades in black. The wheel arches and lower front fascia are painted in body color and at the rear there are dual exhaust tailpipes and it’s finished off with red brake calipers.
Inside there’s aluminum trim on the dashboard and doors and a Race-Tex roof liner.
The pricing for the 2024 Porsche Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid starts at $148,550, including destination. The Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid Coupe $153,050.
