Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the updated 2024 CLA-Class, which is slated to arrive at dealerships later this year. The CLA is now the entry-level compact sedan in the brand’s lineup, since the A-Class sedan left last year.
On the outside the 2024 CLA gets a restyled face with a new grille and at the rear there’s a new diffuser. The front and rear LED lighting has also been updated with new graphics. Inside there’s the standard 10.3-inch digital instrument cluster and infotainment system that runs the latest generation MBUX system. There are also new colors available for the interior and optional open-pore brown linden wood trim.

The CLA 250 serves as the entry point to the CLA lineup with its 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 221 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. Mercedes estimates that the CLA 250 and the all-wheel drive CLA 250 4Matic can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 6.3 seconds.
For buyers that want more sport, there’s the 2024 Mercedes-AMG CLA 35 and CLA 45 S. The CLA 35 is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 302 hp and 295 lb-ft. and it can sprint to 60 mph in 4.8 seconds. The CLA 45 S is also powered by a four-cylinder but it packs 416 hp and 369 lb-ft. The CLA 45 S can sprint to 60 mph in 4.0 seconds and has a top speed of 167 mph.
